Jade Dragon Boat

Believe It or Not!, this sculpture was modeled after a real ship used by ancient Chinese emperors! This elaborate, 11-foot long, three-headed dragon boat was hand carved from over 1,000 pounds of solid jade. Chinese royalty made art and furniture from this semi-precious stone because it is thought to possess spiritual powers that heal and protect. Why the dragon? In Chinese mythology, the dragon wields power over water!

Mezco Toys Unveils Batman-Based Mez-Itz

Mezco Toys will be revealing its new Mez-Itz line of toys and vehicles – based on the 1960’s Batman Classic TV Series – to the general public on Tuesday June 25, from 11am to 1pm at Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Times Square. The line will feature the likeness of the actors from the series such as Adam West and Burt Ward, plus Batman Classic TV Series toys, including the Batmobile. The first 200 people to come dressed as their favorite Classic Batman TV Series character will each receive a free Mezco DC Universe Mez-Itz as well as $10 off admission to Ripley’s.
