What are your hours of operation?
We are open daily from 9:00am to 1:00am. So that you may fully enjoy the odditorium, our last ticket is sold at 12:00 midnight.
How do I schedule a group visit?
It’s unbelievably easy! Our friendly group sales coordinators are available to help you Mon-Fri between 9am and 5pm. You may reach us at 212-398-3133. You may also fill out our info request and one of our team members will contact you.
What if we’re tax exempt?
Be sure to include a copy of your organization’s New York State tax exempt certificate with your request so that we can be sure to get you the best possible rate.
How do I get there? By Subway: Take A, C, E and S trains to Port Authority or 1, 2, 3, N, R, B, D, F, and Q to the 42nd Street /Times Square stop.
By Public Bus: M57, M16, M11, M27, M42 and M104 all stop within a few blocks.
Taking your own bus: We’re conveniently located on 42nd Street between 7th & 8th Avenues. Bus drop-off is available along 42nd Street.
Do you offer parking?
Our location in the middle of New York’s busy Times Square is easily accessed by all forms of public transportation. There are a number of private parking garages nearby for those who wish to bring their own vehicles. Ripley’s Believe It or Not! does not recommend or endorse any particular parking facility.
For those arriving by charter or school bus – there is a designated drop off area on 42nd Street in front of the odditorium. After dropping off the group, the driver must bring the bus to an area designated for bus parking by the NYPD. Is my group too old or too young to enjoy Ripley’s Believe It or Not!?
Our bizarre collection of the unbelievable and odd intrigues guests of all ages. The artifacts and exhibits are presented in a way that is fun, fascinating and awe-inspiring for everyone.

Of course! Our talented staff includes guides who help bring the astonishing story of Robert Ripley to life. Our guides are specifically chosen to be both interactive and informative. How much time should I plan to spend at the odditorium?
Most guests will spend between an hour and a half to two hours exploring the strange, bizarre and unique items in our collection. As with any attraction, your personal tastes will determine how long it takes. If you plan to investigate every item and read every caption, you’ll be here a bit longer; if you plan to just see the sights and only examine a few items, you will find that an hour and a half is sufficient.
Is photography allowed?
We love when our guests take photos of themselves while visiting us. To make sure that each guest has the same wonderful experience, we ask that you bring no tripods or additional lighting equipment.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
Absolutely. We pride ourselves on being accessible to all guests.
Do you allow strollers?
Yes.
Is food and drink allowed inside?
A number of our exhibits are priceless and simply cannot be replaced if damaged. Therefore, to be sure that we preserve the collection for future visitors, we do not allow any outside food or beverage.
Does the odditorium have a gift shop?
Yes. Our magnificent store features items that range from the bizarre to the unbelievable and everything in between. The Ripley’s Believe It or Not! shop is the perfect place to find something for everyone – comfortable t-shirts, bizarre collectibles, unique jewelry, crazy candy and toys that will engage your child’s imagination. Our products change regularly and we invite you to visit often. The gift store may be accessed by the public as well as those who’ve visited our odditorium.
Is this the same as all the other Ripley’s?
Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in Times Square is unique among the family of odditoriums. Our collection features a number of Robert Ripley’s personal treasures that can be seen only in New York as well as favorites that may be seen elsewhere. Our 25 fascinating galleries include items that have never been seen before as well as life-sized figures representing some of the most eclectic personalities from Mr. Ripley’s journeys around the globe.
