On Friday, February 12, couples can demonstrate their love through a series of uncanny, humorous and, perhaps, bizarre tasks while racing through the twenty-plus themed galleries at Ripley’s showcase location in Times Square. Tasks range from peculiar photo ops, acts of courage to challenges of digestive fortitude like consuming a stomach-churning, yet edible, curiosity. The couple to complete all of their tasks and make it to the finish line with the best time gets married, on the spot, making them the first couple to ever be married in this one-of-a-kind, sensational attraction.“We’ll see what couples are willing to show that they’ll do just about anything for love. At a
place like Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square, your mother-in-law may be the most
normal person at the ceremony and we’re okay with that!”, says Stephen Ekstrom, Director of Sales and Marketing, Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Times Square. “Ripley’s Remarkable Race to the Altar is guaranteed to be unlike anything New York has ever seen before.”
Two dozen shrunken human heads, a couple of two-headed creatures and a collection of certified freaks will be on hand to witness the ceremony. The happily married, yet somewhat questionable, couple winning the race will also receive an amazing prize package containing Ripley’s souvenirs, our latest book and some seriously bizarre bragging rights.

For curious locals, Ripley's Believe It or Not! Times Square is also celebrating the spirit of love by giving away special edible treats to the first 250 couples to visit the famed Times Square attraction on February 13th & 14th.
