Times Square, home to the ultimate in the odd and bizarre, is partnering with the legendary NYC restaurant, Serendipity 3, to create the weirdest and wackiest sundae in history:  The Ripley’s Believe It or Not!  Outrageously Bizarre Banana Split!

Times Square and Serendipity 3, join forces, the results will certainly be unbelievable,” says Michael Hirsch, general manager, Ripley’s Times Square.  “This sundae captures the essence of Ripley’s while showing off the culinary wonders of Serendipity that will certainly make you say ‘I don’t believe it’ when it’s delivered to your table.”

Covered with REAL chocolate coated FARM ANTS, CRICKETS, INSECT LARVA and a LARVA LOLLIPOP the Ripley’s Believe IT or Not! Outrageously Bizarre Banana Split Sundae is strange…even by New York standards.  An unbelievable five scoops of Serendipity’s premium ice cream saturated in a bizarre combination of toppings including crazy wet walnuts, dripping oozing raspberry sauce, ludicrously strange and sticky caramel, with a sideshow of hot fudge and peanut butter toppings will be sure to satisfy your appetite.  Adding to the oddity, the sundae is topped off with two banana “horns,” an “albino” mountain of whipped cream protruding and covered with chocolate creepy crawlers to complete this outlandish and crazy concoction.  YES, the insects are real!
