… BUT WITH A TWIST
“Wacky Wheel of Dad Dares” Challenges Fathers to Earn Complimentary Admission
This Father’s Day, Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Times Square is offering Dads free admission to its one-of-a-kind attraction…but with a Ripley’s twist. Certified in the unexpected, Ripley’s Times Square is inviting all Dads to take a spin on the “Wacky Wheel of Dad Dares” and complete a ridiculously bizarre challenge in order to redeem free admission. From 10am to 8pm on Sunday, June 19, 2011 every Dad entering the Odditiorium will receive one spin on the “Wacky Wheel of Dad Dares” for the chance to earn free admission. Jam-packed with outrageous and awkward challenges, Ripley’s “Wacky Wheel” will have Dads eating “mystery treats” from the Ripley’s gift shop, walking in six-inch heels, leading their family in Hokey Pokey, whistling while eating 10 saltine crackers and much more. Dads who successfully complete the task in which their spin lands (or at least makes a valiant effort trying), will receive free admission to the Odditorium on June 19, 2011. In order to redeem free admission, all fathers must be accompanied by at least one paid full-price child admission.
“Every Dad deserves to be celebrated on Father’s Day and at Ripley’s we wanted to honor them with a little off-beat fun,” said Michael Hirsch, President/General Manager of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Times Square. “Kids are going to get a kick out of watching Dad as he attempts things like hula hooping for 90 seconds straight.”
